Introduction to high-bandwidth AI interaction

Welcome

This introductory course is about working with AI on tasks you can inspect. It is separate from the four free framework essays and the unpublished twenty-module outline.

Start with one practical question: what useful result do you want, and how will you check it? You can use a model to explore options, organize information or produce a draft. You remain responsible for deciding whether the result is suitable.

What this course can help you practice

  • Give the model relevant context and clear requirements.
  • Separate facts, assumptions and unresolved questions.
  • Review a result against its source or a relevant test.
  • Decide what should remain under human control.

AI is not a perfect mirror of your mind. An incorrect or unhelpful answer can reflect a model error, missing information or a poorly matched task. It does not diagnose your emotional health or character.

Your first exercise

Choose a low-stakes task you already understand. Write the intended audience, the source material and three requirements for a useful result. Ask for a draft, compare it with those requirements and record what you had to correct.

Keep the scope small until you can evaluate the result reliably. For consequential work, involve an appropriately qualified reviewer.

Access and progress

The course page lists the lessons and their access conditions. A free preview does not imply access to every lesson or to another product. If you already bought access and cannot open a lesson, contact travis@traviseric.com with your order email.
