The Situation
March 2023. Separated. Three kids. Ex-wife starts filing false CPS reports. Can't afford lawyers at $350/hour. Dad dying of Parkinson's. Mom paying rent. Building a business from zero.
The Attacks
- • 11 CPS reports filed - all cleared
- • 4 police cases - all closed, zero charges
- • False child abuse charges, false mental health claims
- • Search warrant approved but never executed (no probable cause)
- • 2 emergency motions to restrict custody - both survived
- • FERPA request denied - had to file complaint against the school
- • Police, HHS, school, therapy, women's shelter - all weaponized
- • April 23, 2025: Admitted under oath to filing reports herself
Most people would break. I architected a response.
The Strategy
I didn't try to out-lawyer her. I built a documentation system that made lying impossible to sustain.
Documentation Systems
- Timestamped everything: Every interaction, every communication, every incident. Not narratives—forensic records.
- Pattern evidence architecture: Connected false emergency attempts to CPS reports. Not isolated incidents—systematic behavior.
- Impeachment preparation: Anticipated testimony, prepared cross-reference evidence in advance. April 23 smoking gun wasn't luck—it was prepared architecture.
- AI as legal research engine: Used Claude to analyze case law, identify relevant precedents, draft motions, prepare arguments.
- Emotional regulation protocols: Never reacted emotionally in writing. Every communication was strategic, documented, court-ready. Haven't said a single mean word since the divorce.
How AI Actually Helps
Legal research: "What's the precedent for harassment by proxy?" Claude found relevant cases in seconds that would take lawyers hours.
Document drafting: "Draft a motion to compel based on this evidence." AI provides structure, I add specifics and strategy.
Pattern analysis: "Connect these incidents into a coherent timeline showing systematic behavior." AI helps organize chaos into prosecutable patterns.
Communication co-pilot: Before sending any message, AI checks tone, strips emotion, ensures everything is court-admissible. Every text is written for a judge, not for her.
The Results So Far
What's Been Cleared
- All 11 CPS reports cleared: Every single allegation dismissed. 100% failure rate on her reports.
- All 4 police cases closed: Zero criminal charges. Search warrant approved but never executed due to no probable cause.
- Both emergency motions survived: Motions to restrict custody and demand sole decision-making both denied.
- April 23, 2025 smoking gun: She admitted under oath to filing CPS reports then using them as "independent validation."
- Cost: $0 in legal fees: Representing myself pro se with AI as co-counsel against two professional attorneys.
Where It Stands
Currently 50/50 custody. Pro se against two professional attorneys. She owes $63,000 in court-ordered support and filed a motion to modify. I countered with a motion for contempt. Filed a defamation complaint for the false mental health and domestic violence claims. The fight continues.
The Bigger Win
My kids see their dad not break under pressure. They watch me build systems while defending them. They're learning: You don't need money to fight for what matters. You need clarity, documentation, and strategic thinking.
What I've Learned
Documentation beats argumentation
I don't try to "win" arguments in court. I present timestamped, cross-referenced evidence that makes the pattern undeniable. The facts argue for themselves.
AI is most powerful when you can't afford the alternative
If I had $50K for lawyers, I might be fighting differently. But I wouldn't have learned to use AI as co-counsel. The constraint forced the innovation.
Emotional regulation is the superpower
Not once have I responded emotionally in writing. Every communication is strategic. She attacks; I document. She escalates; I stay calm. She lies under oath; I have the receipts.
